Vedic numerology rests on three core numbers. Your Life Path (full date of birth, reduced) shows the road you are walking. How to Calculate Your Three Numbers

You can do all of this by hand, and I encourage it — a number you write yourself behaves differently in the mind than one a screen hands you. The rule throughout is simple: keep adding the digits until you reach a single number from 1 to 9.

1. Your Life Path / Bhagyank (full date of birth)

Add every digit of your complete date of birth, then reduce. Take 15 August 1990:

1 + 5 + 0 + 8 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 33  →  3 + 3 = 6

2. Your Destiny / Moolank (day of the month)

3. Your Name number / Naamank (Chaldean values)

Reading the Three Together

The Myth I Correct Most Often: "A Lucky Name Brings Luck"
